Evermore – The wonderfully poignant short story by Julian Barnes is taken from his collection, Cross Channel. Howard Hodgkin responds to this haunting tale of an Englishwoman’s obsessive visits to her brother’s First World War grave in France with etchings and hand colourings, interspersed within the text.
