Painter Howard Hodgkin talks to John Wilson in his studio about his series Indian Waves. The series contains 30 gouaches inspired by India which he painted between 1990-91, and were on show for the first time in London, 2014.

Autumn Landscape, 2014, and The Rains Came, 2014, are also discussed.
