Mr and Mrs Neville Vincent and Mrs Adrian Heath

Notes: Originally entitled Mr and Mrs Neville Vincent, Mr Vincent threatened defamation as the painting apparently represents two figures in skirts. He was actually the egg-shaped head-form on the right – thus the title was changed in explanation. A correction was published in The Times on May 1962. The Vincents are friends of the artist.
